About IDIC

Integrated Database of Ion Channels - “IDIC” is a comprehensive database of 493 human ion channels. The database contains ion channel annotations including including gene information, protein signature sequences, protein domains, three-dimensional structure information, nuclear localization signals and signal peptides. Additionally, it contains the genomic variations in ion channels and the association of several ion channels in various disorders. Alternatively, the database also provides cross references to several other resources. “IDIC” may serve as a platform to the scientific community to understand these complex proteins in a more comprehensive manner using concise search methods.
